Defroster blower noise
What's with the noisy trunk mounted defroster blower? I've heard other people complain about theirs, and mine also screeches and whines like it's about to explode. I'm not even bothering to use it until I find out whether I can lube the motor bearings or replace it or something! One guy said his never lasted more than 6 months. What's with THAT?

it may squeel for years, or it may fail tomorrow. it's a matter of how long you can put up with it. if you buy a used one, have them test it for the same problem.
