Show us your oldest picture, you and Porsche

I was just going through some old files and came across this picture.

Circa 1985 at University, me and then-girlfriend in my 914. I was quite the stud about campus with my Risky-Business shades and white Members Only jacket. More hair then too.

The picture was taken by a buddy when stopped at a train crossing. I was following his Fiat Spider when he jumped out to take the shot.

Drove him nuts that my beat up 914 got more chicks than his very clean fiat. I maintained it wasn't the car

Anyway, the car is gone, the girl is a fond memory, hairline receded, shades and jacket are history. But good friends last, this one lives in SoCal now and we keep in touch.

Show the oldest pcar picture you've got. Extra points if you are in the shot.

Just realized I don't have any pics of me and the 911. How 'bout a 1/4 century ago, me, my wife and our Vettes.

Ok, this could get ugly.

Me, my wife (and i think my younger brother inside the car) and my 1964 356C. October, 1971. Somewhere I have a picture of us leaving the wedding reception in that car too, but I can't find it. Great memories.

Gosh, wish I had a scanner. On my dresser sits a framed 5X7 B&W photo...a 1966 912 kicking up dust as it ascends a narrow gravel road in Eastern Washington. On the door of the 912 is taped a car number sign. The event has now turned into a "pro" rally, known as the Nor'Wester. Back then it was strictly regional folks. The year was 1967. Driver was myself, navigator was my dear & departed buddy David Horner...THe photo? A prized keepsake of mine.

Hell, Robert...I liked the photo YOU posted! Not going to say which one, though... Boy, we all had a lot of hair back then, didn't we?

ErVikingo says..."Looks like a Puma to me, right?"

Nope, not a Puma. But you are getting kind of warm.....Puma's were tupperware cars, this is a real steel bodied car built in a MAJOR car factory by a buncha German immigrants...

When they had it designed and built, parent company says; "Go ahead, but no exports, only for Latin American market."...

Is it a Marcos? My first thought was that it was a TVR knock-off...

Bill,

Is it an old Javelin (sic?). Did they make those back then or is the Javelin a copy of the car in your picture? I wish I had an old picture to post, but being 31 yrs old I better start taking some pictures before I get fat and bald, or something.

Chuck, that is a good picture. I notice you had Illinois plates on the car. Where was that taken?

Bill, did Opel have anything to do with that car?

I've got a Umax scanner on ebay, it's for a Mac, I doubt it will sell. I'm asking 25 bucks and it's in the original box. If nobody bids, anybody here want it? I think Paul is on a PC, too bad, I'd donate it to the cause....
