Chrome H4s on a SC/3.2 targa - pics please

Hi Gang

pretty specific request -- Love to see black roll hoop targas with chrome Euro H4s pics.

I may do Hella ECE drop-ins with my sugar scoops -- cheaper option and apparently great light spread.

But myy gut says the chrome ring Euro H4 may look pretty cool with my 3.2 even though there's no other chrome - but all my photoshopping skills are still leaving me unsure.

So I'm hoping for pics of your headlight upgrades on targas

Thanks!!

I have the H4 drop ins on my 82 targa, look good but I also like the look of the Euro H4s. Painted rings is what I'd do though, FWIW.

Thanks Jason -- and the painted trim rings go over the chrome underneath?

Here's my car; I love the baroque look of the targa roofline with ducktail with chrome rings. Kind of goes together. Also I redid the targa bar in polished black lacquer, with gold Targa emblems. Brings back that '80s bling! Of course I expect many readers to feel nauseous especially those targa haters out there!!

Yes -- so there's no issue with picking up the chrome ring h4s, seeing what you think of the look and then adding the painted trim rings later.

Although folks have had the chrome rings themselves painted, it's my understanding that using the aiming adjustment screws on the rings will easily mess up the paint, making it better to go with the separate rings.

Guys -- thanks

My gut is indeed correct - -that looks excellent to me and @jeffbottman -- baroque is the perfect word.

@pjd - -my car is prussian blue so that photo seals it

Awesome

Neal and Pete - thanks.
Both the white and black pop the chrome nicely

Somehow the chrome rings also complement the classic Fuchs black center/andodized rim wheels.
