My 911 shocked me!!!

Adjusted the valves today and a couple of times when I was adjusting the left side intakes I brushed up against something that gave me a relatively good shock. Any idea what it might have been? I looked around and was unable to find the source. The ignition was off.

It was a pretty good shock, are any of those > 12v? It was also really muggy out so my arms were sweating, maybe that was enough to shock me that bad.

Not uncommon to get a buzz from there. Some people have less internal resistance than others and will conduct some amount of current.

I'd suggest finding the correct cover. Don't want some wire or metal bit shorting and causing a fire.

Thanks, I'll find and replace it for sure.
