Door handle lock cylinder gasket

To my knowledge the gasket around the lock cylinder is NLA (I'm sure someone will let me know if I am wrong), so I did some searching and found an o-ring at the local ACE hardware that appears to be decent replacement. It fits snug, but still allows the cylinder to turn easily. Attached are pics of the o-ring off and on the cylinder, along with a gratuitous pic of the door handles as they came back from being re-chromed.

I've obtained some in the last year. They aren't o-rings. They have a different profile.

Looks like the handles got the Magnus Walker treatment. They look good.

yeah I could tell they were different - kind of flat with a lip. I had pieces of them in the handles when I took them apart. Do you remember where you got them?

This one is a reproduction for a 914. Didn't know if it was the same or not.

O-Ring Shout out

I wanted to confirm and thank Bob/Crimson Nape.. as I had to remove and repair my lock cylinder/door handle this week. Of course my little plastic seal ring part crumbled to bits when cleaning. Rather than order and wait for something I found the exact size #35 O-Rings he sugggested at my local Big Box hardware store in the plumbing aisle. 12 for about $3. They fit perfect and the lock cylinder turns nice and smooth now that its all freshly cleaned and re-lubed. Thanks Bob.
