Need to upload the video...anyone host?

I have the new video done, but I am having a problem uploading it (2.7 MB)...anyone able to help with this?:D

I have a little web server that you can use. Bandwidth out is only about 756k but its yours if you want it. Just e-mail it to me if that will work.

k9handler 11-14-2002 10:32 AM

thanks for the offer, but 2.7 mb is too large for a hotmail attachment.

eion 11-14-2002 10:47 AM

I can host it if you like... e-mail me if you want me to upload it, and I'll give you the address to send it to...

k9handler 11-14-2002 10:50 AM

ok, I will try via a yahoo mail account.

quattroassi@yahoo.com

Thanks!

eion 11-14-2002 11:07 AM

OK, I've sent you an e-mail to that account.

k9handler 11-14-2002 11:14 AM

thanks...the zip file is on the way

Movie ... Movie ... Movie ... Movie ... Movie

oooo the anticipation.

k9handler 11-14-2002 12:19 PM

it's loaded here...but the bandwidth will only allow a few to view.

Someone save and host, so others may enjoy?

this is it!

nostatic 11-14-2002 12:23 PM

ftp it here:

server: bender.annenberg.edu
user: pelican
passwd: 911rules

Put it any where in the pelican directory. Due to a bug I might have to manually change the permissions once its uploaded, but if so just let me know. To view the file:

OK, the video is now up:

I'm just downloading it now to make sure it works.

nostatic 11-14-2002 12:28 PM

mirrored here (for those on the left side of the pond...or right depending where you sit):

thank you!
It works...hope you all enjoy, I just hope that I can learn more as I go and make better clips in the future.

eion 11-14-2002 12:34 PM

Yup, works for me. Sadly, I don't have any space on this side of the Atlantic... beggars can't be choosers, and all that.

THAT VIDEO IS FANTASTIC!!!
I just got back from a long lunch catching a little surf and now I might have to bug out early for a drive.
Perhaps a name change to the post or a new one with the link saying the new vid is here, I almost skipped right past it with the current title.
Great job
:D :D :D
