car theft tracking system
Any of you Pelicanites use of have a theft tracking system installed in your vehicles. If so, what kind do you have and how does it work. Also how much does it cost on a monthly basis.
I am presently looking into getting one set up for my P-car but what I am finding is really expensive - especially the tracking software/monthly fee charge for doing this. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

How about an old iPhone permanently wired under the carpet in the rear deck with the find my iPhone feature; Not too expensive.

Not sure how effective they are? If they tow your car to a metal wearhouse before you realize its gone? Most pros know how to disable a lojack anyway. JMO
