If I had to do this, you know what I might do?
Why don't you plot out a list of Porsche mechanics along your route? A couple per state.
Enter them all into Google Maps. If you break down, just get towed to the closest one.
This might only take one hour total if you're good with the internet, and will give you peace of mind.

Bring your AAA card and a wallet. It is unlikely you will be fixing anything on the side of the road beyond a fuse or relay.

For those of us who aren't familiar with the actual aaa methods let me explain .
First they pay drivers pennies and make them wait to get paid.
When a company recieves a call from aaa it's is the absolute lowest priority
and if a driver gets a real call or a cash call you will not even be a memory.

Last tIme I used aaa I waited over 5 hours for a tow and they didn't send a flatbed
so I had to wait another 2, I then called a local tow company and said the magic word
cash and the guy was there in 15 minutes , in the truck he told me heard the call
but since it was a weekend night he would be better off waiting for a real tow.

You absolutely cannot depend on your aaa card for your safety in any way and that's the truth

Change the fan belt unless it's new. Save the old one for the trip.
Fix-A-Flat
If you have ignition points, bring a spare and feeler gauge.
AAA Plus - IIRC it's good for a hundred mile tow.
IF you have one laying around, I find the old school dedicated GPS (like a Garmin) suction mounted to the windshield is awful handy.

Good luck and have fun!
