Post reflector plate

Wondering how to remove reflector plate (Lense between tail lights) on 85 euro. Bently shows slotted screws. I dont have these. Do I have to get it from inside the engine compartment or does it some how pop off? Thanks,
Joe

get in behind it with a stiff putty knife and pop the plastic tits out of the metal retaining clips. easy to detach the rectangle tit panels from the reflector in the process.they can be reglued.

I have an '87 and recently removed the reflector -- not sure if it's the same design as yours. I think there's a rubber lip that covers the screws. You just have to lift it up with a flat edge (I'd use plastic ormaybe your fingers, to ensure you don't tear it). Those screws are easy to reach. Be careful, as your reflector may have wires connecting into it. I was surprised to find no wires near mine, but the reflector housing had plugs and working bulbs in it.

That's interesting Richard. I would'nt have expected provision for lights in center reflector. My '87 is a U.S. Spec. Is yours Euro? I think I see a bit of wire insulation poking out between left lens and center reflector. And there's a loose fastener on the upper left of my center reflector. Also a metal contact that may have something to do with the alarm. (Looking into that is one of my soon to come "cold weather" projects.)

Now, if I can find a trusted wrench in Atlanta who can mount/balance my new Yokahomas.

Take care
