Too many cars, not enough space! Storage in West LA?
Looking for some help/advice from all of you LA guys. After blowing a wheel on my Tesla I pulled the RUF out of my parents garage so I can drive her for a couple days. Its been about 3 months since i drove it, and I had the battery tender on it the entire time and it in one of those silly (but effective) air bubble car condom thingies. I get the car and after a full day of driving I think everything is great when the interstate battery (installed new in January) dies on me. I realize it was somewhat of a fluke that the battery was defective, but it brings up another question.... are there any viable and reasonable car storage facilities in west LA? A quick google search gives a few options and I have reached out for pricing, but the only response I've gotten so far is $850 a month as a base fee! That was just stupid and as a real estate developer who has built storage in the past, I'm surprised there aren't more options in LA. Yes, land values have skyrocketed and I'm sure insurance is through the roof, but it should be significantly more reasonable to have a secure high end car storage facility that turns on/drives your car monthly and has it washed when you want it!
so with all of that said: What do you guys(and gals) do if you're out of garage space (or your wife turned into a playroom ![]() Is storage viable? Selling them isn't and option, but any other suggestions or comments are appreciated.

I know of a few, none cheap. A few buddies and I are looking to go in on some flex space. But it will be in OC/South LA county. At about 10 cars it becomes much cheaper than most storage options....

Peterson museum offers storage for $200-$250 a month and they keep the cars in tenders and will start it and drive it around the basement on a certain schedule if you choose to request it. The museum is obviously under reconstruction right now but I am pretty sure the basement levels are intact as they have many many museum cars in rotating storage and also many client cars who rent monthly. I saw Jonny Depp's Mercury there not too long ago.

I also know a place that offers spaces for $150 a month near Olympic/Fairfax/San Vicente. It's a secured gated parking multi-level structure. You get 24 hr access with the gate key card. PM if interested.
