911 Concept car for sale
I am all about sharing, if I am not mistaken this was Butzies concept hack before introducing the G-model.:
Porsche 911 Carrera Concept Car - 1973 For those of you not well versed in Dutch the main facts: 1. it is a "concept" 2. it runs a Ford GHIA(?) motor 3. it is a "concept" 4. It needs some TLC 5. It is a "concept" 6. It was made in Ireland A serious amount of Lager was used to build this "concept". Where is the Playa when you need him. Michel

It's most likely a Covin. Made in England and later Ireland.

I do not think it is Covin.
The auction house says it was made in 1973, so that is too early for Covin. I also think the shell is legitimate Porsche in part and not GRP....

There was one for sale in SC about a month or two ago. It was just a rolling shell if I remember correctly. I think the guy wanted about $3200 or something.
I'd say if you were a vw guy and wanted to build a 912 of sorts, put a raby type4 in it...it could be cool. Obviously this is kind of thing is about the level of craftsmanship one has, and the knowledge to build a whole car. The bodies were completely fiberglass, so it would have a significant weight advantage to some other projects. Agreed that the car above is a terrible travesty, and the perfect example of what you don't want to end up with when complete.
