Blown fuse on wipers & speedo
This weekend I was at the track and it started raining. I turned on my wipers and almost immediately my wipers, tach & speedo stopped working. I saw a fuse was blown. It's a 25a fuse. Anyways the next day at the track I accidentally hit hit he wipers again, blowing the fuse again. Anyways I've used my wipers before without blowing fuses, any idea why it would be blowing all the sudden? I don't want to be blowing a fuse any time I turn my wipers on.
Thanks

Is there a diagram showing all ground locations?

There is and you could do a google search to find it but I'm pretty sure the one you're looking for is located behind the heater controls under the dash. They need to be free of oxidation and tight otherwise you will be pulling more current then you normally would. Same is true for your fuse and switch side connections. Nothing draws excessive current like oxidized and/or loose connections. I might ad that worn motor brushes will cause the motor to draw excessive current.

My neighbour and I tested the fuses and wipers and have narrowed down the problem to the wiper or wiper motor perhaps. Is the wiper switch prone to wearing out or does the wiper motor commonly wear out?
Right now we've removed power to the wipers via the fuse panel so if I accidentally bump my switch I don't lose the tach & speedo.
