Need 6 Pin Connector/ Plug for 3.2

Both the 6 pin Male Connector plug at the rear (clutch end) of the 3.2 engine that connects to a 6 pin female connector attached to the shock tower X member are broken and I'd rather replace them with originals instead of a Deutsch Connector plug. does anyone know the Part numbers of both plugs pictured here?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1438647337.jpg

Talk to timmy2 - he can sort you out.

timmy2 08-03-2015 06:25 PM

No I can't. I don't have them on hand, nor do I know the part number for the 3.2 as I haven't had them in my hands for the DME.
He already contacted me before making this post and I suggested Deutsch connectors.
If it was a 12 pin I could help him, but it is a six pin that I haven't researched. May even be in the PET???

Ok, '89 PET shows a couple of 6 pin connectors on page 438 of 506 items 16 and 17
Part numbers are 91161286801 and 90161286702
Don't know if those are it, but they look correct.

Thanks again for all your help Dennis!!

You did sort it! :).

One of the plugs is NLA and no inventory shows available anywhere in my local dealers search; I guess I'l have to install a Deutsch connector plug.

Didn't I send a 6 pin one to you once? It looks like the same 6 pin that was 1980 specific (they went to the 12 pin for 81-83).
If I never sent it I'll scrounge around, I must still have it.

Hi Mike,
I have just the bottom piece of the female connector for the 80 Lambda. The one I have is broken at the locking tabs for the lid. :(
The photos he sent me look completely different for the 3.2 harness. Without having them in hand I can only guess.
If he sent me all 4 pieces of the connectors, even broken, I could probably make molds and cast new ones. It would take about a week or so though....

The Male End on mine is the one that's in the worst shape, can I buy the male end from you? If so please PM me your Paypal Info.

I also have broken the identical connector and the female end is completely disintegrated leaving the hot posts exposed. Does Pelican sell the other connector?

Good news, I found a source for new ones finally.....
Same as for earlier lambda 6 pin connectors as well. (1980?)
