Steering Rack Removal/Install?

I am starting to remove my steering rack to faciltate the installation of the bump steer spacers and turbo tie rods. I have the manual - any tricks I should be aware of? How is installation?

Installation of the bump steer kit is pretty easy. You definitely want to loosen the universal joint bolt so that the universal can slide up the steering shaft as you move the rack up to make room for the washers/spacers. Other than that, make sure you are using the proper length bolts and you're set.

To install the turbo tie rods you should take the rack out so that you can properly install the necessary spacer, boots and tie rods and then carefully measure the overall length tie rod end to tie rod end matching this to your measurement with the stock tie rods.
