SWB trailing arms difference ?
I have a SWB trailing arm p/n 901.331.511.02 for the drivers (left) side of the car and need one for the passenger (right) side of the car.
I have been offered a trailing arm p/n 901.331.215.12 Can you explain , what is the difference between the two ? Picture of p/n 901.331.511.02 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1438706986.jpg |
I don't think that these are the part numbers for the arms but the forging numbers so they are generally not too relevant and shouldn't influence function.
As far as I am aware, and we specialise in SWB cars, there are only two basic types of SWB control arm, those with a sway bar pin and those without. If you are really worried about originality it could be an issue but I believe that they should fit and function correctly. |
I need the one without the sway bar pin. Originality is not my concern.
I requested a picture to make shure I am getting what I need. chris_seven thanks for your answer |
I checkthe one i have and the cast number are on bearing side one set 68S with ball pin and 68 without ball pin.Your number is tube side but they are all same.

The geometry is the same with our without the pin so you could use either arm without problem if you don't have a rear sway bar.

Thanks.
The only concern is that I already have the left one and would like a matching pair. |
