Numbers, numbers, numbers
Hi all - any help much appreciated on this one... I'm hoping to expand the garage beyond the 356 and am looking at a 1970 911T. The vendor has told me it is a US delivered car imported back to Europe with matching numbers (although not in the original colour). He has provided the following information:
Engine: 6106153 Chassis: 9110100369 Transmission: 911 01 7103702 I took a look online and the chassis number stacks up. However, from my reading of the chart at the following link the engine seems to be for a Sportmatic from 1970. Unfortunately there is no Certificate of Authenticity... On discussion elsewhere and assuming the numbers are correctly provided, thoughts were it may be a 1970 T Sporto chassis, original engine and converted to manual with a gearbox from a similar year car... Any thoughts or help much appreciated... Porsche 911 C- und D-Modell 1970/71 Many thanks |
Bump for Kenyon! I'm sure someone out there can help him with his question. :)
