The building of my RWB inspired 911

This is my first Porsche. Its a 1979 Porsche 911SC Targa. Oak Metallic Green in color with black interior. I purchased the car in NJ for a very cheap price. But it needed some work.

1 Replace the Brake Master Cylinder.

2 Pedal Cluster Rebuild.

3 Complete Tune Up with new plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor.

4 New High Torque Starter.

5 New Alternator/Fan belt.

Now its at the Paint Shop.

My Goal is for it to look like this RWB Porsche but in Green in the future.

All suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

That is going to look amazing in green! That gray car looks wicked.

And do not get rid of that rear wing... very coveted wing... and looks great in the car.

There may be some propritary suspension secrets which go with the RWB body work and look.

At least I recall this as the reason they do not sell body kits, and use the whole car creation approch.

I love their five spoke Work wheels made special for them.

As do I. But I have a Body Guy that is great with Fiberglass and I'm planning on getting a Body Kit from Better Bodies and have him modify it to look like a RWB one. Also I saw on someones page that actually purchased the RWB kit and saw the boxes that the rims come in and P/N and wheel size and I should be able to order that same style and size rim from Works Wheels.

The RWB cars all have the really deep wheels. I dont think the BBS wheels will look right.

Is the car an European model with the side marker? I have a very similar car like yours but added a rubber chin spoiler to compliment the turbo rear spoiler. You'll notice the slight front lift at high speed with your current set-up with just the rear spoiler. Great find.

Yeah I know it's just going to be the first phase of the build until I get the body kit.

Yes it's a European model and I purchased it from the original owner. I will try to find a chin spoiler for it. Thanks!

I didn't realize how tedious this was going to be. Its taking longer than expected and I can't wait for the final product.

I have fiberglass 964 turbo front bumper, rear bumper, fog lights and front bumper fins. Also have aero mirrors and 3.8 wing if you want the full rwb look.
You would have to have turbo flairs to use though.
