Slightly OT. Break bleeding car w/power breaks.
 

Yesterday I bled the brakes in my winter car (’95 Jetta) using my Motive power bleeder. At first the brakes were rock hard. But when I started the car and the power brake system kicked in they were a little spongy. Should I have had the car running while I bleed the brakes? Would it help to bleed them again?

No need to run the motor. If you have ABS there might be a difference though. A mechanic friend told me there is a different bleeding proceedure for some GM's with ABS, although I dont know what's different. My guess though is you have some air in the system. Try to bleed it again, maybe try the old 2 person method to see if that helps.
