M caliper piston re-assembly question
 

M caliper piston internals from my 1973 rear brakes. Does it matter which direction the brass bushing is inserted into the piece on the left? I didn't notice the indentation when I removed the first bushing. I paid attention when removing the others and two were oriented as shown, but one was 180 from the picture.
