Long Hood Question

I noticed some long hoods have one light opening and others have two.

What year long hoods came with 2 frunk lights?

Not sure what you mean by two light openings. Headlights, fog lights, running lights, turn signals? Can you post some pictures?

He means luggage compartment lights. Don't know when they changed, but my 69 has two, while my 72 has one.

Sure, the trunk lights that are mounted to the underside of the front bonnet (hood). The pictures are dark but I think you will get what I am talking about. Most of the time there is only one light but some hoods have two. Just wondering what year long hoods have 2.

Thanks.

I don't know the answer to your question but I can tell you my 70T has 2 lights. I'm 100% not positive the hood is original but pretty sure it is.

Thank you both for the information.

I was told the hood I bought was from a 71 and it has 2 lights. It's looking like in 72 they may have changed it to one light under the hood.

I have seen 69 and 70's with two.
I have seen a 72 with one.
My 73 also has one.

Okay, so I looked up the luggage lamp wiring harness in the PET today.

There are 2 part numbers:
901 612 042 00 (-71)
901 612 044 21 (72-)

Looks like in 72, Porsche went to one luggage light.

Thanks for the responses.
