c2 suspension on early 911

how hard would this convesion be?

I've thought about that, too, although I don't know all the parts that would need to be changed. DMS--whose coilovers I've used on the rally car--makes their amazing 50mm double adjustable "super strut" for the 964.

now much modificaation would it take to put a stock front complete suspension on the early chasis

how good are you are welding, fabricating, buying c2 fuel tank- waaayyy too much work to make it worthwhile.
the rear can actually accomodate a 993 suspension easily compared to the C2 rear. But the front? fugetaboutit

964 not 993 suspension

The real benefit is in changing the rear suspension to something like a 993/996 multilink. The front doesn't seem worth it, the basic geometry is similar.
