Yea, so last night I put that 2nd coat on by hand, being careful not to get near the edges. Made ALL the difference in the world. Woke up to beautifully level, consistent paint this morning. They are baking in the sun for a few hours...I'll mount them up later this afternoon. And I agree..they are going to look unreal! So psyched to check them off the list.

I would let them bake for as long as you can bear. Someone might correct this but Im not sure you want the sun shining directly on the new paint in case it dries the outside paint layer too quickly. Maybe place the back side facing the sun?

wow spectacular.

Fantastic - that grey looks really, dare I say it, "organic". Do you have a rough price for the anodizing? Would like to compare to power coating.

Those wheels and your car look amazing. Nice job! |
Yea, the lawn guys are overdue!
The wheels were $380 out the door. They had to blast them first, which was $60, then $75/wheel for anodizing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Ahhh yeah! Perfect match with your car. Thanks for sharing!
