Sell or Keep Smog Gear?

I've just removed the smog equipment from my 77 911S, California Spec. Should I hold on to the equipment, or find someone who needs it?

I've removed

airpump and bracket
thermal reactors (which were resurfaced 5,000 miles ago for some reason)
air rail and injectors

will I ever have to put this stuff back on (assuming the car never leaves the East Coast again)?

What will the smog laws be like here on the East Coast in 10 years? I'd want to hang on to it just in case ...

How'd you get away with that?

Arlington, Va.... Don't you have the same smog inspections as the rest of NoVa? Isn't this why my vehicles are all licenced in Ohio. How did you manage to get it tagged?

My take on keeping. I never ditch anything off my vehicles that is still in working order. I guess I'm a semi-pack rat, but I like spare parts, you never know.

I would hold on to it. You never know who is going to purchase your car, the person could be from CA.

Always save original parts to your car. This is a plus at sale time regardless of where the car is sold.

Save the parts. You never know where the car will end up and it could be a real hassel for the next owner. Who knows. you may move to California.

Question

I wanted to remove the pollution equip. off my 75 911S as well. I am looking at the list of parts that you took off and I only recognize the thermal reactors as a pollution control element. Can someone explain what the other parts are and will my car have them. What will I be able to remove on my car?

thanks for the feedback, I'll be keeping the stuff

for the question on the air-injectors. I was able to buy brass plugs for the holes from a local shop. Dulles international. I assume pelican sells as well, but if not let me know and I'll get you the contact info.

Plugs

Do a search in the archieves. I remember something about a Mercedes brake caliper "bung", or something like that.
