will it buff out?

Looks like Magnus Walker's "277" car just got hit with a trailer, wonder if that level of damage is worth repairing?

Yikes! That sucks but agree with JacobS911....he'll fix it. That's his favorite car....he won't want to be without it.

I don't know details, wasn't there in person.

Sorry for the news, that looks like tough pill to swallow, hoping everyone is okay.

... an afterthought, somebody should tell Magnus that if he's got a video of it, running a stop sign or a red light while whaling away just before the sudden impact, he should keep it off YouTube.

Looks like the cage did it's job in protecting the driver. By the looks of it he may have slide the car on purpose to save the front of the car. All while just missing the engine bay. Lucky man.

No, but it will pull out.

Once pulled out sufficiently, a new rear quarter can be installed. Same for rocker.

The door will likely be hung in his garage.

Hi Magnus

Hi Magnus
Agree, it's high enough from the lower tub. No fun but I suspect he can afford it and may take the opportunity to change it up.

Strange this to me....where are the skid marks not the asphalt, esp if they were race tires...cold or not? Glad everyone is ok, more details are needed and I am sure they will come.

schadenfreude

Joy from harm. Made more delicious if you think the person deserves it. Not defending the guy, but if that was me and my car - I would be pretty low right now. I hope the guy is OK, I hope the car gets made whole - it's a great car. That wheel set is pretty nice - I have heard of them, but not really in detail - I like them a lot.

The transporter was blocking one lane of the road. Magnus was coming the other way (the right way) in the open lane. A 280sl pulled around the trailer and into Magnus' lane. Magnus had two options: hit the Mercedes driving in the wrong way head on or try to serve out of the way. He swerved away from the incoming car and apparently the backend came around and hit the stationary transport.

Always hurts to see a Porsche banged up, but anything can be fixed and Magnus certainly has the resources to handle the repairs. Bummed I didn't head over this morning to see it beforehand.
