'69 911S oil filter / cooler lines fitting... Help!

My '69 911S hotrod has no front oil cooler... and one of my winter projects is to rectify this situation.

The car does have the original '69 hard oil lines in place. They run as solid lines from just in front of the oil filter, flush with holes in the inner fender side around the rear wheel well, through the rocker panel and into the front fender well.

The '69 cars did not have a thermostat incorporated into the hard lines. My oil lines run from inner fender well all the way to the front as single pieces. I have the flexible lines for the front, the cooler mounts and stone guard and some hardware.

My problem is the oil tank installed in my car does not have the original oil filter housing assembly. When the cooler was removed at some point in the past, the filter housing was apparently changed.

The correct setup on this car has both the in and out oil lines from and to the front oil cooler attaching to a fitting between the oil tank and the oil filter itself. This fitting also incorporates the oil thermostat.

Im missing this fitting.... and thus have no way to mount the cooler lines or a thermostat.

I hope im drawing a good picture of how it all works on my car.... here's the big question:

*** Does anyone know where I can source this oil line / thermostat / oil filter fitting? I really need one! Anyone have a picture of it so folks will know what im talking about?

Thanks for the help.

Terry

I'm sure it's NLA. Try to find a used from the salvage yards.

edit:

Check my External Oil Cooler Configuration Guide :

http://www.elephantracing.com/oilhandling/oilcoolingconfigurationguide.htm

It has a diagram of the '69 setup exactly as you describe it.
