.. got wacked with a golfball sized rock in Phoenix from a big construction rig in the left lane.. so I've been eyeballing different glass.. I love my brothers stock '88 tinted AC shield, that was delivered to LA.. so I write down all his glass numbers for reference.. but I'm under the impression that PPG glass is stronger. and will have less stone chips. all stone things equal.. so I look at 911 PPG installs locally and am unsure, somethings not right in my upper fuel burner.. Ah, I see.. the upper dark band on the PPG is much narrower than the Sekurit glass.. about 3in narrower.. it wouldn't even hide my Valentine. so far it's going to be Sekurit for my humble 911.. the whole Sekurit package seems much more beautiful.................Ron

Interesting. I also believe the tinting is a different color. Stock shadow strip for my car was the unusual green, instead of the more common blue. PPI makes a green, but it's not the same color, I don't think.
