leather seat covers

I am sure that this has been posted before, but I could not find it with a search. Who makes the best leather seat covers for an '88 911 (non-sport seat)? I will have a local upholstery shop do the install, but I will supply the seat covers. Any preferences?

Thanks,

Lew

Lew,

What search term did you use? I entered Seat Covers and got tons of info.

Below is a link to RFuerst911SC's recent seat recovering thread....

I recovered my front seats today

Good Luck,

Rick

No personal experience, but Original Fit Interiors and World Upholstery have great reputations (though Original Fit is reputed to be slow). World Upholstery has a website here: World Upholstery.

Good luck.

I just got my all leather seat set and rear panel covers from World Upholstery. I talked to both them and Original Fit but went with World. They are great people and will go out of their way to fix any problems. They made a mistake in my order and took back the whole thing and re-did it completely without a question or hesitation. If you call them Greg or Tami are both very helpful.

Are there products out there that are leather seat covers that go over your current cloth or leather seats to protect them, just like some people use sheepskins or whatever?

I also have used World Upholstery and am very satisfied with my seat skins. I also purchased the leather dash, and a half/cow for the rear deck and rear side panels.

To say the least, they go out of their way to help you out, and if you have a particular color send them a swatch and they will match it.
