Sparco R100 with 83 SC sliders - Do they or don't they

I seem to be finding mixed answers about what bolts into my 83 and what requires mounts to fit.
Hopefully I can get some confirmation.

Recaro Speed and SRD seats - Unbolt sliders from factory seats and bolt onto new seats and bolt them in. No fuss.

Sparco R100 seats - I've heard they can take the factory seat sliders and then bolt directly into car. Again, no fuss if this is true. But I've also heard they require mounts and the sparco sliders to bolt in and then sit a little taller.

Can any confirm the Sparco R100 mounting details?
