Hey guy's,
I have to ask .. My car run's great nothing seem's to be wrong i've checked everythig. But if the car is sitting for longer than 5 hrs It has a high peak in RPM's on start , then it fall's off to the point it dies.... but if I give it gas on the strat and keep the RPM's high for just 20 second's it run's good what would cause this to happen on the start.. hey I have to add the rubber grommit around the gas cap had rotted and I think a few peice's may have fallen in the tank could this be blocking the flow of fuel somw how? any help would be great! |

My guess is a vacuum leak. Try moving around the intake and airbox when this occurs by manhandling it and maybe you will close off the leak. Once you figure out it is a leak then you can figure out where it is (intake, airbox, injectors, etc.)
