My wheel started shaking, particularly at speed. My mechanic says it's due to flat spots caused by my car sitting for long periods of times. I'm talking 4 weeks at a time at worst. He says they go away with driving, but mine hasn't. What do you think? If I had another set of front wheels I could test his theory, but that's not possible.
Is this a problem for you guys that store your cars over the Winter? Ifso how do you getaround it?

I had some major flat spots on my tires, due to SOMEBODY taking my car to autocross and getting a little carried away with the fun of spinning.

the 4-matic wagon would get flat spots overnight. the tires would vibrate until they warmed up then very smooth (balanced to the gram.) pump them up, take them off, roll the car every few days. bearings will get spots from sitting also.
