MSD rev limiting
 
Hello Everyone

I installed the MSD 6425 what rev limiting should I put in it ?

I would set it at 9,000 RPM if a later GT3 RS. (meaning, what are you driving?)

My 81SC has a 6,400 RPM red line. I set mine at 6,500 with a pill on my older MSD 6AL. You probably have a dial. Others will have better data once they know which car.

Hi,

Thanks for that bit of info; I failed to see that in your original post,.. :) :)

Set the rev limiter for 6500 RPM as that's the safe limit for cast pistons. You are well past the power peaks at that RPM, anyway.
