Another "what's this?" and is it broken?
I was peering under my car today and saw this. It looks possibly broken (yellow arrow)? There's a tiny bit of oil seepage here. This is looking from the passenger side, in front of the rear tire, just behind the floor pan. I've marked where the shift rod is coming out of the floor pan through the boot, going rearward (left) into the transmission.

It looks like it could be fitting around cable to heat exchangers ??? Tim

It might make sense, as when I lift my levers nothing happens at the red box (vent) between the heater hose coming off the heat exchanger and the car (the heater blows nice and cold). Thanks!
