Fuchs - Euromeister or Linea Corse?

Anyone like one more than the other? I feel like I've always heard terrible things about Rota wheels in general but both look pretty similar!

Anyone have experience with either or images they can share on the car?

Thanks!

There are a couple good threads and quite a few naysayers...

I have been considering shelving my Fuchs and going for a set of these just to have the sizes I want. With the current prices on Fuch 8s and 9s, I don't really see any other option.

I made this same decision and grabbed a set of euromeisters 17x7/9s. a win win, Fuchs are "safe" in storage and the new wheels and tires truly transformed the car.

I just ordered a set of 7/8x16 Euromeisters; the Fuchs will be refinished and then treated like a long term CD...

Thanks for the input guys. Seems like Euromeister's are the way to go given the quality and price.

From our host Linea Corsa, stamped made in Italy. I've had the 6 months and 1500 miles. Needed few weight to balance perfectly. I love mine

I've had the Euromeisters (7&9x17) on my 85 for 12k miles now and no problems.

They look like this after many hours of refinishing.

Thinking of getting euromeisters 7x16 and 9x16. Where did you order yours? checked PP but only 9x16s are available. In addition, under 7&9x16s what tire size do you guys run? 225/55 and 245/50s?

I chose the Linea Corse because I wanted the RSR finish. Very happy with my choice. No issues at all but they do cost a bit more than the Euromeisters.

What size? They look amazing. Cost for a full set looks to be equal to a SINGLE decent 9x16 fuch per current ebay listings.

Ayles,

Thanks. They are 7.5"/9" wheels. The tires are 215/45 front and 255/40 rear. No spacers.

I'm in the market for these, probably Euromeisters. I sure wish the PO of my car kept the Fuchs, but they were long sold and the car only came with BBS RS (still great wheels). Now real Fuchs only appeal to me for collector reasons, and I am pressured to go 17" for the better tire choices.

I love Eric's DIY RSR finish on the Euros, I would give that a shot (but no way they would turn out as great).

Tire selection in 16" is still OK if you don't go 9" on the rear. Still lots of choices in the 205/55 and 225/50 sizes. The 245/45 for the 9" rear? Not so much...

Excellent point, up to 225 there is still a wide selection of 16" tires. 245/45/16s widely available are limited to RE-11/-11a, Toyos, and R-comps. Those RE-11s are close to $200 per tire, too!
