Recently my 911 started thinking that the doors were open all the time. The lights stay on in the middle position and the key buzzer makes noise anytime the key is in. Even when driving. My first thought was that one of the door pin switches was not working properly. Everything looks fine on both sides.
I was able to "fix" buzzer. It is on a shelf in the garage and no longer buzzes when the doors are closed (or open for that matter). It would be nice to have the interior lights on when the doors are open. Where should I look next? Thanks, Don

The switches may "look" o.k., but the wires behind them may be touching together and closing the circuit.
Other than a bad light switch (is that part of the buzzer circuit?), hot wire at the fusebox touching and energizing that circuit or the wires pinching together somewhere I can't think of any other suggestions. Good luck |
