Color Question
 

I found a 911 on auto trader. It is in a different state and the seller sent me a discription and pictures. The color is listed at "Meteor grey w/ black leather". In some of the pictures the color looked slightly "purple" or like it had a purple tint. In a few other pictures it looked like it was just "smoked" grey. The seller is not available and I was curious if anyone knows if Meteor Grey has a purple tint or somked?

I don't know about Meteor grey, but you can't really go by pictures. My car is Tangerine, but in the email pictures the seller sent me it was definitely tomato red. Try looking for the color on p-caronline (they allow a search by color). With enough pictures in varying light you can get an idea of the color.

In one picture, it DOES look like a purple cast.

Meteor gray has no purple in it. It's a true light gray.
Porsche's Diamond Blue Metallic looks gray with a blueish hue to it.
