930s steering wheel

I bought one of the new 930 steering wheels and installed it and it looks great, I have only one slight problem the damn horn wont shut-up! Anyone else have this problem or any sugestions,just a little anoying to say the least.

Jim, If the Tech Article doesn't have your answers, do a search. There was a thread on this exact problem a week or so ago.

i would keep the wheel if you can if you ever decide to go to another car and get rid of this one the next owner may want it

Good advice.
I carefully wrapped mine up and put it in a box for the "next owner".
You'd be horrified to know the dealer price of a brand new O.E. wheel.

Just put mine on with no trouble. On my SC I only had to hook up one of the wires.

With the center pad off watch how the "switch" works. When you rock it it will contact the metal ring. What I did was take each of the two wires, one at a time, and touched it to the ring. The first one I tried would honk without the second one attached. I didn't even try the second one. Just left it alone after covering it with electrical tape.

Give that a try.

I tried the one wire when I was installing it and no luck, read your post and went and tried it again guess what it now works. I guess it was just to darn simple. This board is amazing, Thanks for takeing the time to help
