All the cars are different. On my SC, the wires are long but you can also pull that loom through a bit around the fuel tank area. You may have to loosen a few of the metal loom tabs.
To be honest, the only reports of wires being too short are on this forum. Dozens of shops fit these panels everyday.

I’ve seen many short and long tied and terminated fuse panel wires, depends on who tied it at the factory.
The joys of hand built cars. I’ve installed more than a few of Johnny’s fuse panels on new harnesses, never a problem with too tight terminal holes when using new ferrules. Plus, I generally use larger gauge wire than Porsche did, so they take up more space in the holes.

At some point I will rewire the car and clean everything up to match the high level of quality of the CR fuse panels!
