There were paint issues unique to the Carrera 3.0 in 76/77 where paint peeled off the galvanized metal, but I think they solved that by the time the Carrera 3.2 came along

My two cents on AC. If you have access to R12, use it. I had a buddy with the proper equipment purge the system of old R12, check for leaks and then put fresh R12 in. Mine held a vacuum so I didn't see any reason to convert to R134a if R12 was available to me.

Red, orange, yellow in any car tends to oxidize faster so just keep her clean and wax her 4 times a year to help protector her from the southern sun, plus the old new gal will always look good for you :D
