Adjusting Older Koni Shocks-Help
I have these 15 year old adjustable Koni shocks (#1214) that I want to instal into my RST build but quite frankly I cannot remember how to adjust them. They have a ball bearing type valve with a small pin hole in it located at the top of the body which does not resemble the illustrations in any of the Koni websites. As well, I cannot get any clicking sound when the body is turned with the unit fully depressed. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance. Cheers, Johan

The red ones are adjusted by cycling them to full compression, then engaging a captured nut in the bottom of the tube. Clockwise for firm, counter-clockwise for softer.
You only get about a 1 1/2 turns, full-soft to full-firm. I suggest dropping an email to Koni customer service regarding the ball valve. Bill K

If I remember, you press the button, start turning, let go and it snaps back up into place? No idea if this helps.
