Is this a G50 factory short shifter?
The certificate of authenticity for my 1988 Carrera says it was built with a short shifter. While replacing the shifter bushings I thought this would be a good time to verify. Is this a pic of a G50 factory short shifter? Thanks.

"Short shifter" doesn't refer to the length of the shift lever. It refers to how far the shift knob must be moved to make the trans shift.

G50 short shifter ?
The throw feels about the same as a standard 915 shifter. I don't have another G50 to compare it to. And I'm not with the car today so can't measure the throw.
The COA lists as an option "shorter gear shift lever" so maybe the lever is a bit shorter but the mechanism is the same? Thanks for your help.
