1988 Carrera Brake Questions
Regarding my 1988 Carrera 3.2 G50 brakes, I have a few basic questions...
1) What is the purpose of the little plastic cup with pinhole in the bottom that sits in the fill nozzle of the fluid reservoir? Can this or should the be removed when filling for brake bleeding, to allow faster filling? 2) My original rear rubber brake hoses had a round end on the outside (closest to caliper) fitting. The new ones I got from Pelican have a flat spot on one side. Photo attached. Is there any reason for this difference and does this serve any function? Thanks in advance. ![]() |

The hose pictured will fit a bracket with or without a flat in it. A flat will index hose if bracket is cut
