Finally took a shot at the duck
I finally got around to getting my duck tail painted and on the car. I replaced my Carrera tail, i couldn't believe how much that thing weighed. Overall i'm really happy with the look, kinda the look i've been chasing for some time. The body shop did a nice job matching the paint the best they could, at some angles the paint matching is spot on, at others the duck tail appears to be a bit darker. Tech at the shop said it will even out with time, hopefully sooner than later. I'm not sure whether to leave it badge-less or apply the RS style Carrera sticker in the upper right corner with out the RS, i'll just snip that off. comments, suggestion and criticism always welcomed. Hope you all like it!

I think it looks great as is w/o badge. PORSCHE stands out strong at the rear.

Red paint is known to fade. Then it's over. It will match up in time.

Looks like a very well thought out wheel, paint, decal, tail combination. I think it looks great. Ride height looks perfect. Great job.BTW-I'd skip the badge.

Yea skip the sticker for sure. We have plenty of Carreras stickers up. Less is more.

Overall your car looks Very Nice, tail looks great, great stance, and nice color wheels. Are those 16x7 and 16x8 rears? What color are the spokes?
I agree with the earlier post regarding leaving the RS sticker off as the Porsche logo really sets off the rear of the car. |
