Getting Help from the Kids

Only four weeks old, and she's already giving Dad a hand! We reassembled the door after our door stay repair last weekend.

Any tips on keeping the kids engaged with my car work as the years go by? If this "old porsche thing" is going to last, it will have to become a family affair.

My son is just about to turn 2, I let him poke around at the car and hold tools etc. He loves to sit in it etc... I don't ever chase him away and encourage him to help fix things. He can just about turn a screw driver.

He gets a lot of joy out of cars and trucks, some of it must be nature. But they are big part of my interests so a bit of nurture in there too.
