I was given this distributor in the box of parts.
I have a 76 911s with points and such but I also had this in the "box of parts" It appears to be an electronic type...can I use it or retrofit it to what I have?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1445133991.jpg

Your distributor turns clockwise. This one turns counter clockwise.
Early SC. Do not throw it away. Someone needs it. What I don't know is if you can move your secondary ignition wires around to make it talk to your engine. On top of matching advance profiles and such. |
If you find you cant use it, let me know.

Sure it is a SC part?
Looks like one for a 4 cylinder car from the pictures... |
Part number indicates euro SC.

the second set of three posts are behind the first set, admittedly not a very good pic. |
Six contact points on the reluctor, 6 cylinder SC Distributor. Part number is correct for SC as well.

SC RoW ignition distributor......

Please take a note of the above post. This ignition distributor is for Euro/RoW engine. I got a couple of them as spares. Save it because it is harder to find this type of distributor when you need one. And if you have no use for it, you could swap or trade or sell it for the needed distributor for your use. Tony |
My ROW dizzy part number is PGFD6, no U for vacuum as it has no vacuum pods.
Just an FYI. |
