Paint Code Sticker Location 1982 911SC
Hello,
Wondering what the consensus is for the factory location of the silver, rectangular paint code sticker is for a 1982 911SC? Mine is located in the engine bay (see photo) but I have heard they should be located in the front compartment (inside of the right fender)? Attached two photos of mine. Thoughts paint and body guys? Thank you

The paint tags and decals were located in several different places over the years. Yours seems to be in the right place for 1982, so I'd quit worrying about it.
