Post Want an idea how the market is doing?

Some people have said that Porsche prices will go down based on how the stock market has been doing. Here's a definite sign of where we are: there are over 50 Boxsters for sale on eBay. I never noticed that before!

Hi,
Not only Boxters, but a lot of 911 (1999 and above though). I am in the market for an older Porsche (sc) and could not find very many (if any) in the N. Va/ Wash D.C area. My guess is that so many of these newer porsche are on sale because a lot of I.T workers in the Dulles area bought them a few years back when they were very well rewarded and obviously not so anymore. God Bless. Andrew

Guys, I have been in Audi/Porsche dealerships the past 3 days shopping for an Audi. Each day I saw someone closing on a Porsche (one a 2001 Twin Turbo, one a 2001 Boxter S, and one a 1996 993 cab). There may be more cars for sale, but people are buying too. People react in times like these all the time, but I don't think you are going to be able to get a big "bargin" on one now.

I know that Saturn and Chevy are offering 0% APR financing to boost the econonmy: what are the chances that Porsche will do the same? If they do, "Baby gonna get a new set of wheels!"
