The drop link connection to the control arm may be different. You have a ball pivot sticking out of your arm. Most SC's have a bolt-on drop link. They made a transition from ball to bolt around '77, the first year of the SC, so you might check the part first.

A logical question is whether the early sway bar drop link fits on the SC sway bar. While the sway bar attachment to the body is the same, the bar O.D. doesn't match (~18 vs 16mm), perhaps you could change the drop link bushings to fit.

Tim,
I don't want to lead you astray, but my mind is foggy on the configuration of the sway bar ends on early and SC's. So I can't verify they are interchangeable (even via modifying the drop link bushing). My 911 currently has a Weltmeister (different drop link setup). Perhaps others have more accurate info to provide.
