75 911 No Power to T Sig Switch

No Turn Signals. 4 way OK. With Key On no power coming to back of TS switch. Appears grey wire in center is feed from ignition switch (see key and photo). Before I replace ignition switch I'm looking for suggestions.Anything else to check. Lg white wire in center is to headlamps, and 3 contacts across bottom appear to be 4 Way.

Nevadachuck,

I'm mot sure what the question is. If you aren't getting power where you think you should, follow the wire back and see why not.

As you can see from my signature, I have the same car, and there's not much I haven't had apart.

There are quite a few threads on repairing the turn signal wires and the contacts that get bent, and I have notes on all the wires going to the ignition switch and headlight switch - just nothing on the turn signal switch, as that has been covered so thoroughly on here already.

Please let us know what you need, and we will help out anyway we can.

first let me start off by saying i HATE freeking turn signals.

ok i fell better

looking at a 73 diagram, should be same, the grey wire should have power at least with the key OFF. that is for the park lights when you turn the car off and turn the turn sginal lft or rt, one side stays on solid.

power for the regular turns comes in on 49a. i think blk/gn/wht.
get a test light and probe the wires. if everything is working up to the turn sw, then the TL should blink when you hit the wire from the flasher. if it does not, go back to the EM sw, or, it shows another connector between the EM sw and turn sw. check that/there.
if you can, cehck pin 49a(?) at the EM sw with the TL. see if it blinks.

Just a suggestion for a simple check as I had a similar problem with my wiper switch, no power and nothing worked. Turned out the plug under/below the dash down behind the hood pull lever had become disconnected. Might check down there first just to eliminate the possiblity.

Good luck.
