Battery cover?
I thought I saw a battery cover listed somewhere, I guess to protect the trunk liner material from acid damage. Have you seen it too? Where? Does it work or cause more problems by trapping fumes?

i have heard of battery mats and use them in all cars.
the 914 has a 'rain sheild' on top. the boats get battery boxes, but they would not fit in the 911. i'm lucky to get the battery in.
