Good East Coast 911 Interior Restoration Shop?
I have an 82 911 SC Targa (Pacific Blue exterior, dark blue interior) in outstanding mechanical condition but the interior needs help. Do you know of a good shop that can take the car over the winter and perform an interior restoration for me? I live in VA, work in Manhattan (don't ask) so I would be willing to drive to and drop off my car at an excellent shop between those two points. If the work can be done over the winter and the shop can store the car for those months, that would be ideal. Things that need to get done:
Re-cover the dash New windshield and seals (needs to come out anyway to get to the dash) New carpet New panel covering on doors and around rear seats Re-cover rear seats Targa Bar re-cover Headliner on the targa top is drooping and needs help but the headliner itself is ok The driver's and passenger seats had a fleece covering for 25 years so they are in very good shape and I'm inclined to keep them original. I'm not into concours type perfection on this but would want to use original German materials so that the car stays close to the original. Thanks, Ralph

"Loves" in Georgia. If you're not close to that shop you should try and ship your stuff to him.
